Greetings,

Knowing God! Have you ever stopped to consider what a privilege it is to know Him? We’ve all heard someone try to impress by dropping the name of an important or famous person they know. But think of it....we know God! No one on our speed dial could ever come close to His level of importance, whether it’s a movie actor, a billionaire, or even the President of our nation.

Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NKJV) – “Thus says the LORD: "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; [24] But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the LORD.”

When someone enjoys name-dropping, we sometimes can’t help but wonder how well they really know that person. The beauty of ‘knowing’ God is that we can have more than just a casual acquaintance with Him. It means that we get to know Him personally and intimately, and that He has invited us to build an awesome relationship with Him!

Today, I’m worshiping with Jason Nelson and “Nothing Without You.”

Greetings,

God wants to bless you today in every area of your life. Notice what He said in His Word:

3 John 1:2 (NKJV) – “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”

Just as God desires for our souls to prosper, He wants us to be healthy and well, and to prosper in ALL things! It’s a lie from the enemy that God wants you to be blessed spiritually, but to struggle in other areas of life. Oh no! He wants to bless your family, your finances, your health and every other aspect of your life—period!

So, today I will worship You, Lord! I thank You for having my best interests at heart in ALL things.  I will agree with Your plan for me and declare that in every area of my life, I am truly blessed!

Today, I’m worshiping with Phil Thompson and “Atmosphere Shift.”

2492. THURSDAY, AUGUST 1, 2024

Greetings,

Things don’t always turn out exactly the way we asked God to make them happen. But does that mean that God didn't hear us when we prayed? Does it mean that He doesn’t care? No, of course not. He always loves us and wants what is best for us.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) – “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; [6] In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

The problem is that we really don’t always know what is best. Even when we’re experiencing pain, our light affliction is accomplishing something far greater than we had imagined. Sometimes we are broken to experience a greater measure of His glory.

Lord Jesus, I want to know You, not only in the power of Your resurrection, but also in the fellowship of Your sufferings. Even in my brokenness, I will trust You.

Today, I’m worshiping with Matt Redman and Tasha Cobbs Leonard and “Gracefully Broken.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!

Greetings,

What have you chosen to lay aside that you might pursue Christ? Was it wealth, fame, or possessions? Probably not. After all, God wants to bless us. but if you did, I dare say it wouldn’t compare with what Moses sacrificed to follow after God.

As an infant, he became the son of Pharaoh’s daughter and heir to unbelievable riches. Yet, he gave it all up to suffer affliction with God’s people. Why? He counted the treasure of knowing God as greater wealth than anything the world could ever offer.

Hebrews 11:24-26 (NKJV) – “By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, [25] choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, [26] esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.”

You can NEVER out-give God! We may consider financial offerings to be the only acceptable form of giving; but giving is so much more than that. Whether you let go of ungodly influences, the wrong associations, fame, bad habits or even fortune to follow Christ, what you receive in return will always be of far greater value.

Thank You, my Lord, for the riches of knowing You. I am rich beyond this world’s comprehension. The wealth I experience in being Your child, and the satisfaction I find in knowing You is beyond comparison!

Today, I’m worshiping with Wilder and “Lay It All Down.”
