Greetings,
God takes pleasure in our prosperity and delights in blessing us. How do I know this is true? It’s written in the Bible:
Psalm 35:27 (NKJV) – “Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, "Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant."
While I strongly disagree with those who preach only a message of prosperity, and who don’t teach the full Word of God, I also disagree with those who believe that God doesn’t want His people to prosper.
Just as a father loves to see His children succeed and be blessed, our Heavenly Father also rejoices over the accomplishments and promotion of His people. God takes pleasure in our prosperity, because it causes Him to be magnified by both believers and unbelievers.
Father, I thank You for every blessing You have already given me, and I praise and magnify You for the blessings that are coming my way! I’m looking for an open heaven over my life.

Greetings,
To build a strong faith, we must learn to ‘pray in the Spirit.’ We don’t always know what to pray for, but the Holy Spirit, who knows all things, certainly does!
Jude 1:20 (NKJV) – “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.”
God wants to continually strengthen us, until we become really strong! Since faith is the currency of the Kingdom of God, His desire is to increase our faith, that we can trust and believe in Him to do greater things. If all things are possible to those who believe, let’s begin to pray in the Spirit every day.
Father, I thank You for helping me to grow. I am not where I used to be, because You are helping me to move forward more each day. Teach me how to pray freely in the Spirit! Help me grow even more.
Today, I’m worshiping with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and “That’s Why, God.”

Greetings,
Scripture instructs us to pray for the leaders of our nation, regardless of their political persuasion. Paul taught early believers to pray for officials who were the corrupt leaders of the Roman Empire. My prayer is for our leaders to enact legislation that will heal our broken world. But to improve our world, God must be involved in their solutions.
In spite of our best efforts, our world cannot be fixed without God’s help. Think how many have tried to do this on their own—and failed. The healing of a nation can only occur when we ask for His guidance.
Revelation 22:1-2 (NKJV) – “And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. [2] In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
The tree of life holds the cure for the world’s ills. While there is no cost for this healing, paradoxically, it required our Lord to give His life while He was here on earth. What a horrible price He paid!
Lord, we look to You that You May unite us. The one thing I can agree with other believers about is that You are an awesome and loving God. On this, there is no debate. Thank You!

Greetings,
Did you know that God has strong feelings against those who bring division among His people?
Romans 16:17 (NKJV) – “Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.”
Why do you suppose this is such a sensitive matter to God? It’s because He remembers the division in eternity past that was caused by Lucifer, His leading worshiper. He still remembers the pain, as though it was yesterday, when a third of heaven’s angels had to be cast out of heaven for joining the rebellion of His former angel of light.
How do you think God feels about the terrible division in our world today? Even more, can you imagine how His heart aches when He sees so much division in His church—from doctrine to politics—when the prayer of His Son was that “we would be one”?
Father God, help Your people to be “one,” as You unite our spirits at the foot of the cross. I pray that You would break our hearts with the things that break Yours, and teach us to love the things that You love.
