Greetings,

Have you noticed how the Spirit of God is calling with greater intensity? Christ has been knocking at the doors of our hearts. Will we hear and open to Him? We can either go back to the way things were before, or we can choose to pursue God with fresh passion and fervor.

Revelation 3:20 (NKJV) Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me.

Father God, send the Fire of the Holy Spirit to burn in the hearts of Your people again. Cause us to hunger for You. Help us be devoted to You and to live our lives as we are taught in Your Word. Revive Your church and renew us. Breathe Your life into all that we do. We need You!

Today, I’m worshiping with Yahweh Will Manifest Himself by Oasis

Greetings,

Do you enjoy giving God thanks for what He has already done for us? Thanksgiving is an important part of our devotional life.

Gratitude is also a key to receiving even more of God’s generous blessings! We shouldn’t be like Israel who never seemed to learn this lesson. God delivered them from slavery, and brought them through the Red Sea—as if it was a paved highway, fed them manna from heaven, and supernaturally cared for them for 40 years in one of the most inhospitable places on earth. Yet, time and time again, they continued to complain until God finally said,

Deuteronomy 32:18 (NKJV) - “Of the Rock who begot you, you are unmindful, And have forgotten the God who fathered you.”

Had they been thankful, can you imagine how many additional blessings God would have showered upon them?

Father, I am thankful for all of Your many blessings! You have blessed me in ways too numerous to count. I could never thank You enough just for saving me. I couldn’t possibly save myself. You have protected and sustained me. Thank You!

Greetings,

Learning to trust in God is always rewarding. After all, who deserves our trust most? Leaders? Economists? Politicians? Would we rather trust ourselves and our own intellect?

God has promised to take care of us and will always be faithful to those who seek and trust Him. He will never let us down.

Look at what the Bible says about King Hezekiah:

2 Kings 18:5-7 (NKJV) “He trusted in the LORD God of Israel. [6] For he held fast to the LORD; he did not depart from following Him, but kept His commandments, which the LORD had commanded Moses. [7] The Lord was with him; he prospered wherever he went.

God causes those who trust in Him to prosper! Leaders, financial gurus, and politicians all let us down. God never will.

Father, help me trust You more. I look to You, my God. You’ve always proven to be deserving of my confidence. Use the setback I’m going through, caused by the enemy, to be a setup for a blessing to me and Your Kingdom. Stir my heart to a greater love and passion for You! I declare Your faithfulness.

Today, I’m worshiping with Austin Stone Worship and “Great Is Thy Faithfulness.”

Greetings,

Have you learned the benefit of just spending time with God when the pressures of life bear in? We try to compensate for stress by doing something…anything. We often struggle to find peace and get our minds off our problems, so we look for something else to do. Instead of getting busy, why not enter into God’s rest and cast your burden upon Him?

The old saying is that He can’t pick up what we don’t lay down. How often do we try to carry our own heavy loads when Jesus is saying we should give them to Him?

Hebrews 4:9-10 (NKJV) There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. [10] For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

Lord, teach me to let things go. Help me learn to surrender them to You. Whether they’re losses or victories, disappointments or accomplishments, You are still Lord. In You, I find the strength I need, even for the hard times. Through You, I am an overcomer and celebrate a life that’s full and satisfying. Today I claim Your peace and I enter into Your rest. I will be still and know that You are God.

Today, I’m worshiping to “Stronger” by Ronald Julian and Faith Worship.
