Greetings,

Have you learned the benefit of just spending time with God when the pressures of life bear in? We try to compensate for stress by doing something…anything. We often struggle to find peace and get our minds off our problems, so we look for something else to do. Instead of getting busy, why not enter into God’s rest and cast your burden upon Him?

The old saying is that He can’t pick up what we don’t lay down. How often do we try to carry our own heavy loads when Jesus is saying we should give them to Him?

Hebrews 4:9-10 (NKJV) There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. [10] For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

Lord, teach me to let things go. Help me learn to surrender them to You. Whether they’re losses or victories, disappointments or accomplishments, You are still Lord. In You, I find the strength I need, even for the hard times. Through You, I am an overcomer and celebrate a life that’s full and satisfying. Today I claim Your peace and I enter into Your rest. I will be still and know that You are God.

Today, I’m worshiping to “Stronger” by Ronald Julian and Faith Worship.

Greetings,

Many of us grew up struggling with low self-esteem. We thought we were too short, too tall, too big or too skinny, not beautiful enough—or anything but handsome. You are worth more than you realize.

God wants us to know how much He loves us. If we never realize how valuable we are, later in life as adults when we encounter a difficult situation, we can often revert back to deep and painful emotions such as: fear, anger, resentment, or feelings of being unworthy.

These emotions cause a lot of people to feel overwhelmed by life. Because of what they are facing, they feel that our Heavenly Father must not love them. That’s how Gideon must have felt in Judges 6:13 (NKJV), when he said, "O my Lord, IF the LORD is with us, WHY then has all this happened to us?”

One of the most liberating revelations of my life was when I realized that God’s love does not depend upon who we are, but who He is! I want you to listen to the story behind the amazing song that follows and let it bless you!

Jesus, You proved once and forever how much I am worth by laying Your life down for me. That is all the evidence I need to show that I matter to You and that my life is important. Help me stop listening to the lies the enemy whispers about how I’m not good enough, I’m not forgiven or that I’m not loved. The scars in your hands tell me the truth.

Greetings,

Sometimes what we need more than anything else is for God to just show up. We are limited in what we can do. So are our family, friends, and even the church. The writer of this psalm realized His need of a higher power.

Psalm 16:1 (NKJV) Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.

One thing that is certain: when we call upon God, He hears us. When we put our trust in Him, He is faithful! You can be sure that God did not let David down.

So, let’s also declare, “Step down from heaven, Lord! Overthrow the enemy’s forces of darkness. Rescue Your people, this nation, and our world from the dark powers of destruction! We place our trust in You. Be God and prevail. Thank You for hearing us today. In Jesus’ Name! We love You.

Greetings,

Years ago, I learned that in both the Japanese and Chinese languages, the characters for writing the word ‘crisis’ mean ‘danger’ and ‘opportunity.’ It is written by placing the characters for danger and opportunity beside each other.

A crisis will always present a choice. Which word do you choose to describe the outcome when you are in a dilemma? Do you panic and feel despair? Are you overwhelmed with a sense of danger, or do you say this is another opportunity for God to be God? Notice these verses:

Isaiah 60:1-2 (NKJV) - “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. [2] For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; BUT the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.”

As everyone can clearly see, we are now living in a time of great darkness. Evil prevails and confusion reigns. Satan is behind the turmoil but I believe that it is proving to be one of the devil’s worst strategic mistakes. The darkness of our time has created desperate emptiness. God is causing a great revival in the church, and incredible numbers of people are turning to God. When darkness surrounds us, the Light always shines the brightest.

Father, revive Your people!  Forgive us for our lack of total devotion to You. Restore our souls. Send a harvest of salvation such as we have never seen before! Help us and let Your light shine through us, that others may see You.

Today, I’m worshiping with Bethel and “Let Heaven Come.”
