Greetings,

God takes pleasure in our prosperity and delights in blessing us. How do I know this? It’s written in the Bible:

Psalm 35:27 (NKJV) – “Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, "Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant."

While I strongly disagree with those who preach a selfish message of prosperity—without the full perspective of the Word of God, I also disagree with those who believe that God doesn’t want His people to prosper.

Just as a father loves to see His children succeed and be blessed, our Heavenly Father also rejoices in the accomplishments and promotion of His people. God takes pleasure in our prosperity. His blessings upon our lives give us a testimony that causes Him to be magnified by both believers and unbelievers.

Father, I thank You for every blessing You have already given me, and I praise and magnify You for the prosperity that is coming my way! Use Your blessings upon my life to show others how much You can do for them.

Today, I’m worshiping with Sarah Reeves and “Incense.”

Greetings,

To move heaven with our prayers, we must learn to ‘pray in the Spirit.’ We don’t always know what we should pray for, but the Holy Spirit, who knows all things, certainly does!

Jude 1:20 (NKJV) – “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.”

God wants to continually strengthen us, until we become strong by His power and might! His desire is to increase our faith, so we can trust and believe in Him to do greater things. Since all things are possible to those who believe, let’s begin to pray in the Spirit every day.

Father, I thank You for helping me grow. I am not where I used to be. You are helping me to move forward each day. Teach me how to grow in the power of prayer! Let Your Spirit infill and enfold me. Work through me. Help me to be a prayer warrior. Use my prayers to defeat kingdoms and thrones of darkness. I want to be an intercessor. Through my prayers let Your Kingdom come into this earth.

Today, I’m worshiping with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and “That’s Why, God.”

Greetings,

Scripture instructs us to pray for the leaders of our nation. That’s true regardless of their political persuasion. After all, their decisions affect believers, whether we agree with them or not. My prayer is for them to enact legislation that will help heal our broken world. But to improve our world, God must be involved in their solutions.

Our world cannot be fixed without His help. Think how many leaders have tried to do so on their own—and failed. The healing of a nation can only occur when we ask for His guidance.

Revelation 22:1-2 (NKJV) – “And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. [2] In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”

The tree of life holds the cure for the world’s ills. While there is no cost for this healing, paradoxically, it required the life of our Lord while He was here on earth. By His stripes, we are healed.

Lord Jesus, bring healing to our world. Bring healing to this nation. After all these years, it would seem that we would have learned that solutions of which You are not a part, are not solutions at all. We need You. Let Your river flow. Let healing come.

Greetings,

Did you know that God has strong feelings about those who bring division among His people?

Romans 16:17 (NKJV) – “Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.”

Why do you suppose this is such a sensitive matter to God? It’s because He remembers the division caused by Lucifer, His leading worshiper, in eternity past. God remembers the pain, as if it was yesterday, when a third of heaven’s angels sided with satan. They were cast out of heaven for joining the rebellion of Lucifer, the former angel of light.

How do you think God feels about the terrible division that exists in our world today? He knows how the damage it can bring. Even heaven was disrupted by strategies that brought division. Ca you imagine how God’s heart aches when He sees so much division in churches—from doctrine to politics—when the prayer of His Son was that “we would be one”?

Father God, help Your people to be “one. Unite our spirits at the foot of the cross. The cross of Christ breaks down the barriers that exist between us. It causes us to see things from a Your perspective. I pray that You would break our hearts with the things that break Your heart, and teach us to love the things that You love.
