Greetings,

Habakkuk tells us that someday the knowledge of the glory of the Lord shall cover the earth as the waters do the sea. It might seem like that couldn’t possibly happen because the hearts of so many people lack an understanding of God, but without question, a great awakening is coming to our world! Could this be the year when it begins? Could it begin in you or in me? God has been doing great things recently at Inspire!

Zechariah 2:11 (NKJV) - "Many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you.”

Not only does God want to visit our world, He wants to dwell among us. Think how much that would benefit us! The God who is perfect in all His ways, who has never lost a battle or failed to accomplish His purposes, is abiding with us! He can do anything!

Humanity rightly keeps trying to fix the problems our world is facing. Sadly, we attempt to do so without God’s help. By leaving Him out, our flawed nature keeps getting in the way. It causes us to stumble and fall.

Father, come and dwell among us. Awaken our world! Let Your Presence sweep from the north to the south and from the east to the west, until as Habakkuk prophesied, the Glory of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea! Dear Lord, who has never lost a battle, let this awakening begin in me!

Today, I’m worshiping with Tauren Wells and “Never Lost.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!

Greetings,

We all know that while Christ wants to unite us, Satan seeks to divide us. This is how Paul describes what Christ does for His people:

Galatians 3:26-28 (NKJV) – “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. [27] For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. [28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

This is what Jesus concluded division would lead to:

Matthew 12:25 (NKJV) - “But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.”

Just as a marriage or family cannot succeed when it is divided, neither can a company, a church, a sports team, an army, a government, or a nation. Division is the work of the enemy. God wants His people to bring healing to a divided world.

Father, You have made us one. I ask that You would help us understand how to put this revelation into practice in our daily lives. My prayer is that You would help all humanity experience a revelation of how division works against us. Begin a work of unity in Your Kingdom by showing all of us that we are brothers and sisters. Help us learn how to live according to the principles of oneness that You teach in Your Word. Let it begin in me.

Greetings,

What is the standard by which we should live our lives and act toward others, especially those who are different from us? It’s easy to find excuses to treat people badly if we’ve had a difficult day, the bills are due, if we were treated disrespectfully by someone else, or we had a disagreement with a spouse. We might even think our actions are justified, but are they? To begin, we must first consider these words from the Book of Psalms:

Psalm 119:128 (NKJV) - “.... all Your precepts concerning all things I consider to be right; I hate every false way.”

According to the writer of this psalm, the bottom line must be this: God’s Word is the ultimate completely accurate authority on all human and spiritual matters. When the teaching of God’s Word is not accepted as ‘truth,’ our failure to accept His standard becomes the underlying cause of all types of incorrect behavior. God’s Word teaches us to love one another. Love unites us. Treating people badly divides us.

Take racism: it is the belief that one race is superior to another. It is discrimination that comes from embracing a concept that is against the standard of scripture. After all, are we even really that much different from one another? According to the following scripture, I submit that racism could never be a biblical concept:

Acts 17:26 (NKJV) – “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings.”

Lord, help us to accept Your Word as ultimate truth! Give me grace to treat everyone I meet with kindness and respect. They are my distant kin, for You created all of us and caused us to descend from Adam. Love the world through me, and allow my actions to reflect Your goodness to everyone.

Greetings,

What has God made you to do? You do know that He made you for a reason, right? Not one of us is here by accident. The key to personal satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment is to fulfill the purpose for which you were created. Look at what Apostle John wrote:

John 17:4 (NKJV) – “I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.”

So have you discovered what your purpose is? If not, you should get busy finding why you were born. Until you make that discovery, and then begin doing your Father’s business, life will not—and indeed, cannot have any real meaning.

Father, today I exalt You as my God and Creator. I ask You to reveal the reasons why You fashioned me and allowed me to be born. I want to stay busy doing Your business. And like Christ, I want to finish the work You have given me to do.

Today, I’m worshiping with Upperroom and “Pour My Love On You.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
