Greetings,

Did you know the Bible says we should be anxious for nothing? That includes sickness, hurricanes, the loss of a job, relationships, or any other problem we may face. God wants us to live in His peace. How, we may ask, is that even possible?

Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV) – “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; [7] and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

If we will praise God for: (1) what He has already done, (2) what He is doing right now that can’t be seen, and (3) what He’s going to do for us in the future, His peace will guard our hearts and minds! This is the attitude He wants us to have when we submit our requests to Him. He will protect our hearts and minds when we come to Him in faith—rather than fear, which is a form of doubt.

Thank You Jesus, for all You’ve already done for me, and what You’re going to do in the future. You have it all under control, and I trust You!

Today, I’m worshiping with Terrian and “You Still Do.”

Greetings,

Did you know that “from the beginning,” you were chosen by God! Let those words sink into your heart: He CHOSE you! You were so precious in His sight, that He wanted to give you His salvation.

2 Thessalonians 2:13 (NKJV) – “But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.”

Had He not chosen us, we would still be lost and without His salvation. God gave us an opportunity to accept and believe the truth about the Gospel. He sanctified and made us pure by washing away our sins with the blood of Christ. Why would He do such a thing? The answer is simple: God loves us.

Thank You for loving and caring for me before I ever knew You. I will praise You forever for saving me. You reached out to me before I was even interested in You. Oh, what a wonderful God You are!

Today, I’m worshiping with William Murphy and “Make Me Righteous.”

Greetings,

God never intended for us to carry our burdens alone. He wants to be our “burden-bearer.” That’s just one of the many ways He shows us His love and goodness.

Psalm 55:22 (NKJV) – “Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.”

So, as you pray, instead of struggling with a heavy load, why not do what as this scripture instructs, and cast your cares upon the Lord? Just remember: He cannot pick up what you have not laid down. If you will leave your problems with Him, He will sustain you.

Thank You, God, for being such a wonderful Father! Now that I’m Your child, I’m never alone, because You are always with me. Your mighty hand strengthens and sustains me. I love You!

Greetings,

Scripture tells us that when we believe on Christ, we will never be “put to shame:”

1 Peter 2:6 (NKJV) – “Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, "Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame."

Why is this scripture so important? It reveals the difference between guilt and shame. Guilt is a feeling of remorse for our wrong thoughts, emotions and deeds. Because we are descendants of Adam, we have all experienced feelings of guilt because we have all sinned. But those feelings can easily be resolved by simply asking God to forgive us.

However, shame is a very different matter. Shame is not about what you’ve done. Shame is about who you are. The enemy wants you to live with constant shame. He wants you to believe that you are inferior and worthless. But if you’ll believe on Christ, it will change everything. You will be a child of God who is worth more to Him than all of this world!

Father, thank You for forgiving and washing away my sins with Your blood. Because of who You are, I am now free to be who I am….Your child!

Today, I’m worshiping with William Murphy and “When I’m Weak.”
