Greetings,

Today, let’s examine ourselves. You know what I mean by that? Let’s work on our hearts, our attitudes, and our thoughts.

During corporate worship, the power of seeing God high and lifted up with other believers, gives us the courage to confront ourselves. Even though Inspire has online streaming—which has been an incredible blessing, worshiping online is always more like a decaffeinated version of church than the real thing. Right? It helps to assemble and worship with other believers.

Without heartfelt worship, things can begin to creep into our hearts. Wrong desires, negative thoughts and bad attitudes can prevail if they aren’t challenged by the Presence of our Mighty God.

2 Peter 3:14 (NKJV) – “Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;”

In our time of personal devotion, let’s work on correcting our attitudes and any desires that are not Christ-like.

Father, help me to always keep You in my heart and mind. I want to be more like You. Refocus my attention on what counts. I love You!

Today, I’m worshiping with Shirley Caesar and the old song, “I’ve Got a Long Way to Go.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!

Greetings,

Judgment demands recompense and payment for our failures and mistakes; an eye for an eye. Yet, we read that God is forgiving and gracious. All He asks is that we repent and ask Him to forgive us.

Psalm 103:10 (NKJV) – “He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities.”

God is merciful to those who seek Him. He doesn’t punish us according to our iniquities. Rather, our sins were laid upon the sacrificial Lamb of God. He became sin for us. When He took our penalty upon Himself, Christ was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities. Oh, happy day, when Jesus washed our sins away!

Lord, I thank You for Your forgiveness. Even though I don’t deserve it, You still cleanse and forgive me of all my sins. I will always love You, my Lord and Savior!

Today, I’m worshiping with Anthony Brown and the FBCG Choir and “Oh Happy Day.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!

Greetings,

Did you know that God can turn opposition into open doors and your problems into promotions?

Isaiah 49:11 (NKJV) – “I will make each of My mountains a road, And My highways shall be elevated.”

That verse literally means that God will cause whatever is troubling you and standing in your way, to become the very thing that will elevate you! Think about the young shepherd boy who was facing a mighty giant named Goliath. Because he didn’t run away or hide in fear, David was elevated before all Israel. By conquering his mountain, God turned what was a huge obstacle into an open door!

What giants are you facing right now? Is it a financial struggle or a family problem? While your situation may look impossible, believe God and see what He will do. He can turn that problem into a promotion—if you’ll keep trusting Him!

Thank You, God, for always fighting for me and for turning what was meant to be a stumbling block into a blessing, and making it become the means for my success!

Today, I’m worshiping with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and “Thank You.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!

Greetings,

God wants us to know that He is our “Watchman on the wall,” the Divine Protector who constantly guards and defends us.

Since fear is actually ‘doubt,’ let’s refuse to be fearful in times of uncertainty, and rather practice putting our trust in God. Some believers live in fear of divorce, fear of sickness and fear of losing their job. Since we are surrounded by many types of fear, learn to reject every form it may take.

Proverbs 3:25-26 (NKJV) – “Do not be afraid of sudden terror, Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes; [26] For the LORD will be your confidence, And will keep your foot from being caught.”

No matter the situation you’re facing, God will bring you safely through it. Instead of worrying, why not give our stress to God and cause the enemy to be the one to live in fear. Remind him that he’s a liar and a loser—and we win!

Father God, I thank You that no matter what I’ve faced, I’ve never lost my praise! If I worship during the dark times, Your light will ALWAYS shine through. Take away my fear and strengthen my faith, in Jesus’ Name!

Today, I’m worshiping with Lady Tramaine Hawkins and “I Never Lost My Praise.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
