Greetings,

We all have burdens that we must bear. Because the world in which we live has been so terribly damaged by sin, not even the righteous are exempt from some form of suffering. Sadly, many believers think that once we give our hearts to God and begin to serve Him, we will no longer have to deal with problems. Don’t we wish that were true!

The fact is that this earth is not heaven. We live in a broken world, one that has been crushed by sin. We have been redeemed— but the world has not yet been restored from the catastrophic effects of sin.  When Christ returns, that will all change. Until then, believers must deal with sickness, pain, death, economic woes, and challenges in our relationships.

What must we do as we wait for His return? This is what David said:

Psalm 55:22 (NKJV) - “Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.”

God will sustain and strengthen you, if you will take your problems to Him in prayer.  He is such a GOOD GOD!

Thank You, Lord! Thank You for the strength that I find in You. Today I’m letting go of the problems that I face in this broken world and I’m giving them to You. You are strong and can carry them. By Your power, I stand and I’m not moved.

Today, I’m worshiping with Jenn Johnson and “Goodness of God.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!

Greetings,

Thank God, our sins are gone! They have been totally removed and washed away by the blood of Jesus! GONE FOREVER!

Psalm 103:12 (NKJV) – “As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.”

We did nothing to deserve it—and we certainly didn’t earn it! It’s because of God’s goodness that He has removed our transgressions. While it didn’t cost us a thing, it cost Christ everything!

Thank You, my Lord! Thank You for shedding Your precious blood for me. Thank You for paying such a terrible price that the peace of God can dwell in my heart! I am forgiven. I am clean.

Today, I’m worshiping with Rachel Larson and “There Is a Fountain.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!

Greetings,

Incredible blessings always await those who go to the House of God! In my personal devotions, I’ve been deeply impacted by the marvelous promises we read in the Book of Psalms that are given to those who worship corporately with God’s people on a regular basis.

Of course, when the psalms were written, there were no air-conditioned automobiles, super highways, or comfortable buildings with sound systems. People were concerned about dangers they might encounter as they journeyed long distances to the House of God. But because they were faithful to attend, their blessings were multiplied a thousand-fold. Listen to this.

Psalm 84:10 (NKJV) – “For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.”

In our day, it may be difficult for some to attend the House of God, but for reasons other than the pilgrims who were going up to Jerusalem. Some cannot leave their homes because of illness. Some struggle with transportation. God understands. But whenever it’s possible, we should not miss being in God’s House. A blessing of multiplication is promised to those who faithfully come to worship. One day is equal to a thousand spent anywhere else.

Lord, thank You for providing a place of meeting where I can assemble with other believers to worship You together. There is nothing like being in Your house and giving You the worship that You deserve. Each time we worship in Your Presence, I always receive much more than I could possibly give. You are amazing!

Today, I’m worshiping with ORU and “Draw Me Close to You.”
