No one likes to “wait”—but sometimes it’s the best thing that we could ever do!

Lamentations 3:24-25 (NKJV) - "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I hope in Him!" [25] The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.”

God loves it when we trust Him enough to patiently wait for His direction. When you don’t know which path to take or how to make an important decision, pray … and then wait on God. He will always come through, if we will just

be patient and not get in a such a hurry that we forget about Him.

Lord, I praise You for faithfully leading me all these years. You know every path I should take and the best decisions that I ought to make. I pray that You would continue to guide me this day. In Jesus’ Name, I thank You!

When enemy forces come against you, never forget that God is our shelter. He will keep us safe from the storms that rage around us.  

Psalm 18:18 (NKJV) – “They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the LORD was my support.”

In this broken world, we have all encountered those awful days of calamity that have our names written on them. Whether it’s a financial reversal, sickness, health issue, a relational challenge, or something else, we are sure to face strong challenges from our enemy. But the good news is, we don’t have to face them alone!

Lord, I’m so glad that YOU are the head of my support team! You care so much for me. I can always depend upon You to be with me every step of the way. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me! I live to worship You!

No matter what we’ve done or how unworthy we feel, Jesus died to set every one of us free!  

2 Corinthians 5:15 (NKJV) – “and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.”

The fact that our righteous God would allow Christ to become the sacrificial offering for our sins almost takes our breath away! How amazing that He would love us so much. And all He asks in return is that we accept His gift of forgiveness and live for Him!  

Father, today I declare that I belong to You: body, soul and spirit. As Your child, I accept Your forgiveness and grace, and I pledge to live for You the rest of my life! I give You my worship today.

Greetings,

I’m sure there have been times when we have all felt that God must be a million miles away. David experienced those feelings too.

Psalm 10:1 (NKJV) – “Why do You stand afar off, O LORD? Why do You hide in times of trouble?”

When David needed God the most, it seemed that He was nowhere to be found. It’s one thing to be unable to sense God’s Presence when things are going well, but when we’re in a time of distress and that happens, it’s even worse!  

However, we can’t always trust our feelings. God often tests us to see if we are walking by faith and trusting the promises in His Word that He will NEVER leave nor forsake us!

I praise You, my Father, for always being there when I need You. I am so thankful for Your faithfulness! I worship You from the depths of my being.
