Greetings,

When we humble ourselves and pray, God often reverses the tragic outcomes of the problems that we’ve brought upon ourselves with bad decisions.

2 Chronicles 33:12-13 (NKJV) – “Now when he was in affliction, he implored the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, [13] and prayed to Him; and He received his entreaty, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD was God.”

After King Manasseh had sinned and was taken into captivity, he began to realize how many mistakes he had made. That’s when he turned to God. As he humbled himself, God reversed his captivity and allowed him to go back to Jerusalem. Why would God do that for him? It’s because the God we serve is so good!

Lord, I thank You for reversing the bad decisions I’ve made when I failed to honor You or Your Word. The best choices I’ve ever made were when I was listening to Your voice and obeying the teachings of the Bible! Help me honor You in every decision that I make today.

Today, I’m worshiping with Darrel Walls and “I Will Exalt You.”

Greetings,

I’m sure there have been times when we have all felt that God must be a million miles away. David experienced those feelings too.

Psalm 10:1 (NKJV) – “Why do You stand afar off, O LORD? Why do You hide in times of trouble?”

When David needed God the most, it seemed that He was nowhere to be found. It’s one thing to be unable to sense God’s Presence when things are going well, but when we’re in a time of distress and that happens, it’s even worse!

However, we can’t always trust our feelings. God often tests us to see if we are walking by faith and trusting the promises in His Word that He will NEVER leave nor forsake us!

I praise You, my Father, for always being there when I need You. I am so thankful for Your faithfulness! I worship You from the depths of my being.

Today, I’m worshiping with Belonging and Co. and “Seated on High.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!

Greetings,

Let’s stop and think about all that Christ went through on our behalf. He suffered unimaginable pain and humiliation for us.

John 19:1-3 (NKJV) – “So then Pilate took Jesus and scourged Him. [2] And the soldiers twisted a crown of thorns and put it on His head, and they put on Him a purple robe. [3] Then they said, "Hail, King of the Jews!" And they struck Him with their hands.”

Isaiah tells us why Christ endured so much humiliation and suffering for mankind:

Isaiah 53:4-5 (NKJV) – “Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. [5] But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”

Though we were the ones who were flawed and sinful, He endured the terrible judgment that should have come upon us. Instead, God made us become sons and daughters. Oh, what a Savior!

Thank You, Lord, for taking my place and dying for me that I could live for You! How could I ever stop loving You! Receive my praise. I offer it from the depths of my heart.

Today, I’m worshiping with Hannah Waters and “Christ Is Risen.”

Greetings,

Did you chose to lay something aside that you might gain Christ? Was it wealth, fame, or possessions? Probably not; but if you did, I dare say it wouldn’t compare with what Moses sacrificed to follow after God.

As an infant, he became the son of Pharaoh’s daughter and heir to unbelievable wealth. Yet, he gave it all up to suffer affliction with God’s people. He counted the treasure of knowing God as greater riches than anything the world could ever offer.

Hebrews 11:24-26 (NKJV) – “By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, [25] choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, [26] esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.”

In turn, Moses got to see the glory of God. You can NEVER out-give the Lord! We may consider financial offerings to be the only form of giving; but giving is so much more than that. If you have had to surrender friends, fame, or fortune to follow Him, God will give you things that are of far greater value.

Thank You, my Lord, for the riches of just knowing You. The wealth of being Your child and the satisfaction I find in knowing You is beyond comparison!

Today, I’m worshiping with Wilder and “Lay It All Down.”
