Greetings,

You were created for a divine purpose. Our lives have meaning. Humanity was created to worship the Living God and to bless others. By worshiping the Lord, we exalt and lift Him higher than the other things in our lives. Isaiah saw God as high and lifted up. Since He dwells in the midst of our praises, when we enthrone God in our worship, it means we give Him a place to dwell, or reside.

When you stop and think about it, worry does the very opposite. Instead of lifting God up, worry elevates the things we’re concerned about to a level that’s higher than Him. Worry causes us to doubt God’s ability and question whether His goodness is adequate. Instead of enthroning God, it gives our problems a place to dwell. That’s should be the last thing we want.

Father God, help me to “dethrone” worry and stress in my life. Rather than elevating my problems and allowing them to be lifted high, I want to exalt You! You alone are deserving of my praise. I want to lift You up in my life today.

Today, I’m worshiping with Anthony Brown and “Created to Worship, Not to Worry.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!

Greetings,

Do you find yourself living from crisis to crisis? If so, perhaps there is a reason.

Great awakenings and revivals have often been preceded by dire need and adversity. That was true with Israel. It’s also been true in our own nation and of revivals that have occurred throughout the world! Have you ever wondered why? If so, notice this verse in the Book of Psalms:

Psalm 119:67 (NKJV) –“Before I was afflicted I went astray, But now I keep Your word.”

It isn’t that pain is necessary to obedience. Rather, it’s because that often when we are doing well, whether as a nation, a family or as individuals, we take God and His blessings for granted. When we forget God, we fail to seek His counsel. We are more inclined to make decisions that fail to honor Him. But during times of great challenge, we pray and ask God to help us more.

What would happen if we learned to pray every day and invited God to lead us—even when times are good?  No doubt, the same God who hears our cries of desperation when we’re hurting, would also hear us when times are good. In fact, our Heavenly Father would prefer that His children experience His blessings and favor every day.

So, why wait to pray? Let’s seek Him every day. Like the old song goes, “Oh, what peace we often forfeit, Oh, what needless pain we bear. All because we do not carry, everything to God in prayer.”

Father, we come to You in prayer. We ask You to guide our steps today. Help us to honor You in all we do. As we turn our eyes toward You, restore our nation, bring revival to our people, heal the economy .... and please, heal our land!

Today, I’m worshiping with Riddle/Gretzinger and “All Is for Your Glory.”

Greetings,

Do you find yourself living from crisis to crisis? If so, perhaps there is a reason.

Great awakenings and revivals have often been preceded by dire need and adversity. That was true with Israel, in our own nation, and indeed, wherever revival has occurred throughout the world! Notice this verse in the Book of Psalms:

Psalm 119:67 (NKJV) – “Before I was afflicted I went astray, But now I keep Your word.”

Life doesn’t have to be that way. It certainly isn’t because pain has some magical ingredient that causes God to suddenly appear. I think that it’s because when we are struggling, we’re more inclined to pray.

What would happen if we learned to pray faithfully every day—even when times are good?  No doubt, the same God who hears our cries of desperation when we’re hurting, would also hear us when times are good.

So, why wait to pray? Like the old song goes, “Oh, what peace we often forfeit; oh, what needless pain we bear. All because we do not carry, everything to God in prayer.” So why live from crisis to crisis? Let’s live from victory to victory.

Father, we come to You today in prayer. As we turn our eyes toward You, restore our nation, bring revival to our people, heal the economy .... and please, heal our land!

Today, I’m worshiping with Riddle/Gretzinger and “All Is for Your Glory.”

Greetings,

I don’t believe that God is responsible for the many problems in our world that even affect believers, but I do believe that He can use them to get our attention!

Over the years, secularism and atheism have become much more dominant in our society. Prayer and value-based education were removed from our public schools. Abortion on demand was the rule of the day. Moral values are still mocked and God has been kicked out of our universities. In addition to all of this, affluence and prosperity caused us to feel we were secure and in need of nothing. But this is what scripture tells us:

Psalm 9:17 (NKJV) - “The wicked shall be turned into hell, And all the nations that forget God.”

Haven’t we seen enough pain, suffering, division and trouble? When the principles of God’s Word are ignored, nations bring great suffering upon themselves. Our world is beginning to discover just how much we really do need God.

Thank God for the fresh winds of revival that have been visiting our campuses and churches! Statistics tell us that more and more people are now turning to God.

Fairest Lord Jesus, we need You in our world and in our own hearts. Move among us! Give us a fresh desire to know You more and to serve You with all of our hearts. Fill our hearts with a new passion to worship and bring honor to You!

Today, I’m worshiping with Paul Baloche and “Fairest Lord Jesus.” It is believed that this song, written in the 12thcentury, became the theme song in one of the world’s greatest revivals in South Africa, led by Andrew Murray.

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
